Connecticut Blue Trails
One of our current goals is to complete all of the Connecticut Blue Trails. As of the current edition of the Connecticut Walk Book (19th Edition, 2005) there are 825 Miles of Trails. Below is a list of our progress. Photo’s of each hike are linked to if I have them. Some links will take you to my old blog. Major trail names are listed in bold, East or West refers to either the East or West Edition of the Connecticut Walk Book and the page number within, total mileage of each Trail is also listed. The sections of each Trail are read as follows: “Section: Trail Section Name (Mileage) Completed date”.
Not all sections have been hiked exactly as laid out by the CT Walk book. Multiple dates means we broke the hike up, longer sections may have been combined with other shorter sections to make hikes the length we wanted that day. Hope it's not too confusing. :)

For such a tiny state Connecticut has an amazing amount of well-maintained hiking trails. We only get to do all this walking because of the men & women who are part of the CT Forest & Park Association. Please take a moment to visit their site & learn about them & our fabulous trail system. If you’re feeling so inclined maybe you should even swing by the Bookstore & pick up your own copy of the Connecticut Walk Book.
